Friday, February fourteenth, the UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Close, but no cigar. Leicester City's hopes of celebrating its first ever English Premier League title were put on hold Sunday after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. The league leaders, who at the start of this season were ranked as 5000-1 outsiders to win the league, had needed a victory at Old Trafford to secure the title.

Nigeria says it has met with Niger and Cameroon in a bid to tackle security challenges in the country and strengthen bi-lateral cooperation. A statement issued by the Country’s defence ministry said “Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin has embarked on official trips to Niger Republic and Republic of Cameroon where he met with the top Government functionaries of the two countries”.
