Friday, February fourteenth, the UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

A section of Kumba district hospital was ravaged by fire in the early hours of Monday leaving four people dead.
Kumba is in the English-speaking part of Cameroon where the anglophone separatist group has been fighting with the military.
The source of the fire is yet to be confirmed. But it is speculated that it could be as a result of the unrest in the region of the country.
