Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Men make off with Dhs3.6m


DUBAI: A gang of knife-wielding men lured currency exchange dealers into a trap, restrained them and decamped with Dhs3,600,000, the Criminal Court heard on Thursday.

An unemployed Cameroonian man, 30, three compatriot visitors, 29, 32, and 38 and two Malian visitors, both 32, with the help of fugitives used knives and cleavers in the 40-minute robbery. They also decamped with two mobile phones of a money shop’s Indian manager and two mobile phones of a money shop’s Indian manager and two mobile phones of his Indian teller.
