Daniel said Huawei’s donation includes six computers, six printers, 2,000 books, tables and chairs.

Bisse Bea, secretary general of Cameroonian Basic Education Ministry, received the donation from Wu Jing, public relations officer of Cameroon Huawei Technologies Company Ltd, and cut ribbon in the library opening ceremony.

Bea thanked Huawei for the kind donation and their support to the country’s educational sector. He said the donation marks the friendly cooperation between Cameroon and China.

Wu said Huawei is happy to do something for the primary school, and hopes the library will help the pupils’ studies.

Huawei is the main ICT solutions provider in Cameroon after entering Cameroonian market in 2005. The company says 75 percent of its staff are locals. Enditem
