Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Boy drowns at construction site in Diedo



Heavy rains on March 29, 2016, in the economic capital, Douala, which caused flooding in neighbourhoods with poor drainage systems, killed a 12-year-old boy. Ange and friends were playing in a construction site in the "Trois Morts" area of Deido when the tragedy occurred.

According to the police, he fell into a deep hole at the construction site filled with water after the heavy rains. Men of the Fire Brigade rushed to the scene and only retrieved the lifeless body of little Ange. It was taken to a local mortuary while the Judicial Police opened investigations
