Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Popular Cameroonian singer Anne-Marie Nzie has died at the age of 84 following a career spanning six decades, state media reported Wednesday.  Nicknamed the “golden voice of Cameroon”, the singer died Tuesday evening in a hospital in the capital Yaounde where she had been admitted several days ago, Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) said.

Pipeline bombing deepens Nigeria's oil export

Nigeria is currently losing an additional $1.017 million (about XAF596.688 million daily) as the country’s crude oil export dipped further by 21,000 barrels per day, due to recent bombings of pipelines in the Niger Delta.
