 A section of Kumba district hospital was ravaged by fire in the early hours of Monday leaving four people dead.

For some days now, Buea and Limbe have come under severe clash between the separatist group and the military. Limbe has had a ten days ghost town for the first time since the crises broke out in late 2016.

The crises in the English speaking regions in Cameroon has seen the inhabitants of these regions displaced in their thousands. As the Cameroon military tries to counteract the resisting separatist group, there have been reports of human rights violation on the part of the Cameroon military.

After the killing of the US missionary in Bamenda, a Kenyan missionary, Cosmas Omboto Ondar of the Roman Catholic church has been killed at the entrance of his parish in Mamfe, Southwest region of Cameroon on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at around 3 pm by the Cameroon military forces.

Higher Teacher Training Clollege, Bamemda 1. Two *Higher Teachers Training Colleges* existed; Bamenda for Southern Cameroon and Yaoundé for French Cameroon. Surprisingly, Yaounde became Higher and Bamenda, an Annex. Today out of every 100 student teachers admitted in Bamenda, 80 are from French Cameroon. Tell me, who are they going to teach?

Since the last quarter of  2016, it is becoming more challenging for journalists in Cameroon to perform their duties without the fear of being jailed. Freedom of the press is literally not applicable as the very core essence of journalism is being compromised.
