Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Child's head discovered in public dustbin

The head of a child detached from its body was discovered in a public dustbin, locally called "Hysacam bin" in the neighbourhood of Eleveur in Soa, Yaounde-Cameroon. The inhabitants of this neighbourhood were shocked when the alert broke out. The body of the child was not found among the garbage.
