U.S. cuts military support to Cameroon

The crises in the English speaking regions in Cameroon has seen the inhabitants of these regions displaced in their thousands. As the Cameroon military tries to counteract the resisting separatist group, there have been reports of human rights violation on the part of the Cameroon military.

Due to the increase of this violation, the United State's Defence Department says it would stop providing military support to Cameroon's military.

Even though Cameroon is a good ally to counterterrorism-wise but they cannot neglect the fact that there have been alleged atrocities committed by the military in the English-speaking regions.
