Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Turkey detains 1,000 in new anti-Gulen crackdown

Turkey detained more than 1,000 alleged supporters of US-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen on Wednesday, the biggest crackdown since president Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s victory in a referendum that would expand his powers.
