A Ryanair flight to Manchester has been evacuated at an airport in Norway due to a suspected bomb hoax.
Ryanair flight 3225 was evacuated at Moss Airport in
Rygge according to local police.
The flight was due to land in Manchester at 6.55pm but
was delayed for an hour following the security scare.
Local media reports suggest two passengers were heard
arguing near the toilets and the word 'bomb' was mentioned.
The plane was searched but no device was found and
passengers were allowed back on the plane.
It is understood the two arguing passengers were arrested
and taken into custody.
One of the arrested pair is reported to be from the UK
and the other from Sierra Leone.
Passengers described the brief panic among those on
board.
Melissa Gannaway wrote on Twitter: "Escaped death!
Evacuated off flight from Oslo Rygge and bomb disposal team en route! Ryanair
Flight delayed 5 hours at least!"
Student Daniel Shaw added: "All removed from plane
and bomb squad at Rygge airport. However I think the big news here is that
Ryanair gave me free yoghurt!
He later wrote: "Plane doors stayed open and after
30 minutes all passengers asked to leave and pass through security again... all
rather dull really."
A Ryanair spokesman said: “This flight from Oslo Rygge to
Manchester was delayed ahead of take-off after a hoax security alert.
"Customers disembarked the aircraft and were
provided with refreshment vouchers, and will depart to Manchester shortly.
"Ryanair sincerely apologised for any inconvenience
caused by this hoax.”

Cameroonian scammer arrested in Montreal (canada
The Sûreté du Québec announced Wednesday the arrest of an alleged fraudster specialist of a scenario called "Black money scam", in which victims are invited to participate in the cleaning of soiled banknotes, then are robbed during the operation. Cyrille Ngogang, 49 years old, was caught red-handed in downtown Montreal Tuesday afternoon. He appeared in court this morning to be charged with fraud and breach of commitment. The man is not in his first trouble with the law: he was previously arrested by the SQ on 19 January for charges related to the same scheme, and had been able to resume its freedom under strict conditions pending his trial. There are several variants of the 'Black money' scenario, but all involve a so-called batch of cash that has been stained with a dye or colouring substance. Scammers ask their victim to provide money to clean the hoard.
