Friday, February fourteenth, the   UN says at least 22 people have been killed in a village in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Over half of those killed were children. No one has claimed responsibility for Friday’s incident but the opposition parties blame the killing on the government.

Middlesbrough competing with West Brom to sign Cameroonian left back, Henri Bedimo

The 31-year-old Cameroonian international, Henri Bedimo is out of a contract in the summer and Aitor Karanka is hoping to persuade the left-back to join Middlesbrough.

It will be no easy feat as Bedimo has spent the entirety of his career in France but a move to England could be on the cards as Bedimo has stated that he dreams of a stint in the Premier League.

Bedimo with experience both internationally and in the Champions League could provide invaluable leadership and knowhow that Karanka’s side will need to have, to remain in the Premier League.

As Bedimo is out of a contract, Middlesbrough would be able to sign Bedimo as a low risk low cost signing.

However the North East side will not be uncontested in the pursuit of the Cameroonian’s signature with Lille and Nantes also monitoring the situation of the left back.
