The Beyhive had been abuzz all week after the queen released a teaser trailer for a 'special project' with the moniker with the only detail being it was to air on US channel HBO on April 23.
Speculation grew that it would be the world premiere of
her sixth studio album which fans have been waiting with baited breath for.
Lemonade features 12 new songs, including the previously
announced Formation, and is the first new music the singer has released since
the surprise drop of her eponymous album in 2013.
It's her second visual album, and following in the
footsteps of 'Beyonce', she premiered a short film on HBO - a collection of
videos corresponding to each song.
The latest record is a 'a conceptual project based on
every woman’s journey of self-knowledge and healing', featuring artists such as
Jack White, The Weeknd, James Blake and Kendrick Lamar.
There are already rumours arising about some of the
lyrics alluding to her relationship with Jay, with the second song Hold Up
belting out - "Can't you see there's no other man above you? What a wicked
way to treat the girl that loves you."
Further singing on the track: "What’s worse, lookin’
jealous or crazy? Jealous and crazy. I like been walked all over lately, walked
all over lately. I’d rather be crazy."
Not content with that business venture Bey has released
Lemonade just in time for her Formation World Tour, which kicks off in Miami on
April 27.
She performed the song at the Superbowl right after
releasing a controversial music video to go along with it.
Many thought her performance at the halftime show far
eclipsed that of Coldplay, who were the main act for the show, such is her
amazing star power and extreme ability to be amazing.

Cameroonian scammer arrested in Montreal (canada
The Sûreté du Québec announced Wednesday the arrest of an alleged fraudster specialist of a scenario called "Black money scam", in which victims are invited to participate in the cleaning of soiled banknotes, then are robbed during the operation. Cyrille Ngogang, 49 years old, was caught red-handed in downtown Montreal Tuesday afternoon. He appeared in court this morning to be charged with fraud and breach of commitment. The man is not in his first trouble with the law: he was previously arrested by the SQ on 19 January for charges related to the same scheme, and had been able to resume its freedom under strict conditions pending his trial. There are several variants of the 'Black money' scenario, but all involve a so-called batch of cash that has been stained with a dye or colouring substance. Scammers ask their victim to provide money to clean the hoard.
