Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, has been outspoken recently especially on any form of issue involving women and Nollywood at large.
Making various headlines for her contributions on disturbing issues, the actress recently decided to awaken old wound which she has chosen to ignore for about three years now.
The actress has been accused on several occasions of snatching fellow actress, Doris Simeon’s husband, Daniel Ademinokan, after her failed marriage which lasted for eight months.
Stella clearing the air on the issue stated that it was not logical to say that she snatched an able bodied man from his family with his son and the person involved just sat and watch her walking away with the man and kid.
She stated to this day that she was ready to settle down with any other man and he found some criteria about Daniel which she loved and decided to move with him coupled with the facts that he was not leaving with anybody and had settled things with whom he was going out with.
In her words, “I am not a kid. I am 36 years old. I am not about to start hiding myself. I was waiting for somebody to actually ask me this question, because all I have heard for the past two to three years are rumours. They said, blogs said, this said. Nobody has been bold enough to confront me and ask me. So I say, if I steal something from somebody, and the person is really the owner of the thing, you come and ask me, ‘You took something from me, give me back’.
“But nobody was able to do that. And I am like, if I meet an able-bodied man that has left (his family) and moved on; that is not even in the same house with whoever and is not doing anything with whoever, and both parties had decided this thing (marriage) is not going anywhere, and they have gone their separate ways, why is it easier for the world to blame the woman that the man has decided to end up with? Why is it that it is always that woman that broke that home? The two people that did things that nobody was there; nobody said something must have happened between the two people. It is always somebody else that is the problem. And I always say I do not tolerate blaming anybody for your own problems. I have had problems. After my late husband’s death, I got married again and the marriage didn’t work.”

Cameroonian scammer arrested in Montreal (canada
The Sûreté du Québec announced Wednesday the arrest of an alleged fraudster specialist of a scenario called "Black money scam", in which victims are invited to participate in the cleaning of soiled banknotes, then are robbed during the operation. Cyrille Ngogang, 49 years old, was caught red-handed in downtown Montreal Tuesday afternoon. He appeared in court this morning to be charged with fraud and breach of commitment. The man is not in his first trouble with the law: he was previously arrested by the SQ on 19 January for charges related to the same scheme, and had been able to resume its freedom under strict conditions pending his trial. There are several variants of the 'Black money' scenario, but all involve a so-called batch of cash that has been stained with a dye or colouring substance. Scammers ask their victim to provide money to clean the hoard.
