Bafana Bafana and Cameroon have played to a 0-0 draw at the
Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, leaving South Africa with a very slim chance
of qualifying for AFCON 2017.
South Africa were the far more industrious side but just could
not fashion any decent open play chances.
They came closest to scoring from two set pieces, one in each
half.
Cameroon keeper Fabrice Ondoa however, had other ideas, saving
brilliantly on both occasions from Sifiso Hlanti free-kicks.
South Africa has a massive shout for a penalty turned down in
the 90th minute after Thulani Serero was brought down in the area.
The referee, however, waved play on.
In other Group M action, Gambia and Mauritania drew 0-0, moving
Mauritania up to seven points.
Bafana Bafana who only have three points in the group, will now
have to beat both Gambia and Mauritania and rely on other results going to
their way to qualify for AFCON 2017. Cameroon lead the group on eight points.

Cameroonian scammer arrested in Montreal (canada
The Sûreté du Québec announced Wednesday the arrest of an alleged fraudster specialist of a scenario called "Black money scam", in which victims are invited to participate in the cleaning of soiled banknotes, then are robbed during the operation. Cyrille Ngogang, 49 years old, was caught red-handed in downtown Montreal Tuesday afternoon. He appeared in court this morning to be charged with fraud and breach of commitment. The man is not in his first trouble with the law: he was previously arrested by the SQ on 19 January for charges related to the same scheme, and had been able to resume its freedom under strict conditions pending his trial. There are several variants of the 'Black money' scenario, but all involve a so-called batch of cash that has been stained with a dye or colouring substance. Scammers ask their victim to provide money to clean the hoard.
